We have a serious issue in that when a person creates or renews a subscription, the expriration date is well beyond where it should expire and the # of recurrings used is multiple.

What gateway are you using?

Kyle,

By gateway, I'm assuming you mean payment processor which is Authorize.net.

Yes, strange; I've never heard or seen such an issue before. Are you sure the sure isn't pressing the pay button multiple times and paying multiple times? Maybe they're renewing manually multiple times so their subscription lasts? Are there multiple payments in your Authorize.net account? Do you have notifications within CBSubs > Notifications regarding the renewal payments?

Kyle,

We have contacted the bookkeeper to check but on the notifications, there was only one successful payment shown for each of these three people (there are many more).

If there is only 1 notification then the only way for that to happen is likely someone modified the subscription in database or within CBSubs > Subscriptions. I can't think of any other reason for it to do this, sorry; especially if CBSubs is only receiving 1 response from the gateway.
