You tried to install Community Builder over your Git repository?

Guys,

The site that I am getting this error is just a vanilla Joomla 3.3.6 that I installed 2.x RC's and now full release but I had always received this error.
I always have to remove the current CB and install the new. Is there a way to convince CB that it is not a GiT version?

Error

Sounds like you've a .git somewhere in your install? This check is in the Joomla package installer script pkg_install.php. It's there to prevent the install from overriding a git repository of CB. You may want to check your CB install to see if you've a .git somewhere.
