Hide menu items by subscription

Hide menu items by subscription was created by andrew432
What's the best way to show or hide a joomla menu item depending on the users subscription?

I have 2 scenarios;
1. hide/show login and logout menu items depending on the users login status (no cb login module is displayed on this site)
2. hide/show additional menu items if the user is subscribed to a CB Subs plan or not.

The new Auto Actions plugin is great, not sure if this is what's needed but wow, what an improvement on the previous version I still use with CB 1.9 sites.

Regards,
Andrew

You can't hide menu items unless you hide the entire menu module. CBSubs can only protect the destination. To protect a menu items destination or hide an entire menu module you only need CBSubs Content. Best I can suggest for individual menu items is to give users a usergroup specific to their subscription, create a view access level that includes that usergroup, then protect your menu item using that view access level.
