How can I change the 'start date' of a plan into a text

Hello,

I'm looking for a solution to change the existing start date of a plan into text.

e.g. the plan starts each year at the 1st April;

So the plan shows now "1 April 2014 - 31 March 2016 (valid from now on) for EUR xyz,00.
And we like to see "Valid from now to 31 March 2016 for EUR xyz,00.

How can this be achieved taking in mind this must work after each CBSubs update?

This is currently not possible. The datetime format is hardcoded. Now that our date format function supports format overrides it's something we can consider for a future release.

Is there a way to temporary hide this sentence in the plan?
What file can I edit or is there a CSS hide possibility?

I will then put the necessary text in the description of the plan.

Ah, sorry; I misread the string. I thought you wanted to change the current duration display when already subscribed. That's the Price display, which can be changed by adjusting "Price display of plan (default: [AUTOMATIC])" under the Presentation tab of your plan. The substitutions that are available for the pricing display are in the description of the input so you should be able to customize its display as needed.
