I am trying to achieve a Joomlapolis type Subscription table in JCE. any suggestions for a better tool/ way to do this ?

Ours is a HTML table with some CSS for the colors. The checkmarks and minus signs are just images. The rounding is a border-radius CSS style applied to the table. I recommend right clicking and inspecting our membership table in Chrome or Firefox to review its structure and styling.

As you wish - you can just work off an html editor and then transfer the HTML to a Joomla article.
