[SOLVED] Joomla 3.4.1 &CB Login 1.9.1

Hi,

I just upgraded my site from Joomla 3.3.6 to Joomla 3.4.1.
I am using CB 1.9.1 and CB Subs 3.0.0.

If I have the url domain.com I can login to the frontend and backend of the site.
If I have the url www.domain.com I can only login to the backend of the site. Frontend login will not work. When I enter my login info in the CB Login module I just get redirected to the login page and no error is displayed.

I have clear my browser cache, I have cleared all cookies, I have emptied the database session table, I have set the error message level to Maximum. None of these things help or display any error message. The redirect plugin and recaptcha plugin are both disabled.

Any idea how to get login to work with www.domain.com instead of domain.com?

You probably have live_site set within configuration.php or you've an htaccess redirect from www to non-www of your domain. The reason it doesn't work is you're doing a post to 1 domain while being sent to another, which results in your session being lost.

Hi Kyle,

Thank you so much for your help. You are correct there was a live_site defined in the configuration file. Removed that and login works again now.
