Currently working on adding that feature back to CBSubs 4.0 so that it will be usable in CB User management.

Should hopefully be in one of the next nightlies and will definitely be in upcoming CBSubs 4.0 stable.

I have exactly the same need and was wondering if this has been already developed and implemented as feature?

If not, is there a possibility to have this realized with the latest version on a different method?

CB User Management can be filtered based off CBSubs subscription, yes.

Frontend userlists can be filtered based off subscription as well using Advanced filtering in your userlist and supplying the query for it. Example for this usage as follows.
