getUserDataInstance store problem

getUserDataInstance store problem was created by activha
Hello

Does CBuser::getUserDataInstance( "[user_id]" )->store(); still work with CB 2.0.10 and 11 ?
It seems that we have some problem with a code which was working great with previous versions to change a field data.

For instance this does not seem to work any longer :
$Juser = CBuser::getUserDataInstance( "[user_id]" );
$Juser->cb_refid = $refid;
$Juser->store();

any hint ?

That still works fine to return and manipulate a user object. It looks like you're substituting in a user id so I'm assuming you're doing this in CB Auto Actions? Your problem could be your auto action and not the API. Depending on the trigger your changes could be being overridden by a subsequent user store.

OK thanks for the tip
Would reloading the user in the auto action be helpful ?

It would depend on what trigger you're using and what the User parameter is set to. Reload User is mostly useful if you're chaining multiple user object edits one after another.
