[SOLVED] Password problem with CBSubs was created by activha
Hello

I come back on an old problem which seems still unsolved

We would like to shift to password automatically generated by CB however this function seems still not compatible with CBsubs.

When applied, CBsubs members receive the usual welcome CB email but with the hashed password and not the plain password which makes it useless.

Free plan users receive the correct plain password as there is no paiement.

Could you check this and tell me how to solve it ?

Should we stop plain CB email and only use auto action ? I remember this kind of problem a year ago www.joomlapolis.com/forum/153-professional-member-support/224189-password-not-sent-with-cbsubs

Can you tell me what auto action to use in this case for all users ? but I guess it won't follow plans settings for approval or verification

Thanks

It depends entirely on your CBSubs workflows. Are you sending confirmation/approval before or after payment? Are you sending in the pending or welcome email? Once the password is hashed it can not be reversed so the setup is important as to when you send the password.

I found a workaround by blanking the mails in CB settings and instead use an auto action for all users for the welcome email on after registration trigger.

It seems to work fine this way as CB subs controls access after.
