I think this issue might have returned with the latest updates to CB and/or CB Anti-spam. We're getting reports of "invalid captcha" errors throughout CB views and we're using ReCaptcha v3. In which case, there shouldn't be the possibility of having invalid captchas from the user.
Did you update Joomla versions? The captcha implementation is unchanged, but will retest it.

reCaptcha v3 uses a scoring threshold. If Google sees their score is above the threshold the captcha will be rejected. What do you have "Score Threshold" set to within CB AntiSpam > Parameters > Captcha > Modes > reCaptcha > v3.
