I am not using CB Antispam. My template is YooTheme and I don't see any cache settings neither.

There's no errors output when this happens? Frontend only being blocked would have to be some kind of frontend behavior. Are you using Joomla's privacy consent system plugin or have you turned on privacy consent in CBs system plugin? Those would cause acceptance of privacy terms to expire and need to be reaccepted, but that should send to profile edit not just block login.

Hello
- No output error message when it happens - people click (to connect, or to get a remind-me mail) and nothing happens. They are locked out untill we change their password in the admin.
- I don't use any privacy plugin - neither Joomla's one or CB's one.

I didn't see any logical when it happens. Some users are locked out (it happened to me once) and that's it. Remember the beginning of this thread : when it happened to me, I wasn't at all buying anything on frontend, my one-year subscription was 10 monthes old only but in CBSubs I saw this message :

I hope you'll find the trick ! It's painful to get 2 or 3 times a month a rescue message from locked out users...

I can take a look at your configuration if you like if you PM backend super user login credentials, but at the moment I don't have any real ideas what could be causing this. It's entirely possible it's a 3rd party extension if you have any installed, but I can at least review CB and CB plugin configurations for you if you like.

I don't see anything wrong with your configuration within CB. You've only 1 auto action acting on the login success trigger so you've nothing acting on the actual login triggers that could modify the login process. CBSubs allows registrations without subscriptions so account blocking won't happen on plan expiration. No CB AntiSpam, no CB Privacy, and no Privacy Consent installed or configured so those can't block login either.

This is quite strange. You've forgot login set to Joomla so even Joomla's forgot login, which completely bypasses CB, is failing. So this tells me something 3rd party is acting on Joomla user events. You've no 3rd party authentication or user plugins installed. You do have 3rd party system plugins installed. Specifically from the below.

AcyMailing
YOOtheme Framework
JCE

It's possible either of those could be causing your issue, but with no error output of any kind it's hard to say exactly what's going on here. If this happens again try unpublishing the following plugins.

CB Auto Actions
CB Paid Subscriptions

This will at least completely rule out the CB plugins that have some degree of control over login. If still can't login you'll need to explore your 3rd party extensions potentially causing your problem further by unpublishing them and see if you can then login.
