I seem to remember there was a way for a super admin to access a user profile to renew a payment on their behalf to so it shows up in the basket for me to manually accept the offline payment.

This goes back a few years with the URL. /index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userprofile&user=xx (Where xx is the user id). When I was logged in on the front-end as a superadmin, I could "impersonate" the user to go through the renewal for them. (This was likely with J3)

Is there a way to achieve this, but presumably with a newer URL for J4, or is there some other way to accomplish this, perhaps in the back end?    I know I can just "reactivate" them in the backend, but I want to record the payment so that they can have a record (invoice), and my stats are accurate.

Thanks!
Alex

Change "task" to "view" in your URL. Basically you just need to go to their profile and use their subscription tab on their behalf. This will generate a basket for them which you can pay from backend CBSubs basket management.
