Edit the CB Gallery parameters in your stream under Integrations > CB Gallery and explicitly turn on uploads. Next edit the CB Gallery tab in CB > Tab Management and turn off uploads. That should do the trick. In CB Gallery 3.0 activity uploads will no longer require this though and will be a completely separate stream.1. Is it possible to be able to post photos, in feeds (like inside Groups), but not allow uploading from the Gallery Tab in a profile? If so, how?
They are stored to the users gallery in a hidden profile.USER_ID.uploads asset and uploads album. They are only visible on profile to the profile owner and CB Moderators.2. When photos are posted in streams (such as Group Feed or Activity Feed), do they get stored in a user's Gallery, and would this appear on their profile (if the Gallery is enabled at the profile level)?
/images/comprofiler/plug_cbgallery3. Where do the images, music, files, and videos get stored (does CB create a folder for each user on the server?
Yes.4. For video, did I read right in the configuration, I can limit the video by only allowing URLS instead of uploading?
Don't allow extensions that can be malicious like exe. Beyond that ensure your server provides some sort of virus scanning or simply don't allow file uploading.5. For files, is there a way to restrict file types to prevent malicious uploading of suspicious files?
That honestly is unlikely to ever happen. Storage is cheap and plentiful.Overall, I am just looking at ways to prevent/control CB Gallery from potentially filling up a server with all the uploads.

That would just disable uploading. If you want to completely hide the gallery tab just move it to a "not shown on profile" tab position.1. I'm having some trouble hiding the Gallery Tab as instructed. Am I in the correct area to disable uploading to hide the Gallery Tab but still be able to have them post photos, etc, in the GJ Stream?
