Do not show Group Posts/Activity in Recent Activity Stream

I was wondering what I need to do to not show posts made in groups in the recent activity field if the user is not a member of that group?

I only have one Group Stream that I gather applies to all the groups, so not sure if I need to do anything different than the default.

I have the "Recent Activity" visible as a menu item.

They shouldn't see posts from groups they're not a member of unless that group is public. Streams is for excluding entire streams via stream ids. Assets is for excluding entire assets with support for wildcards. Users is for excluding all posts from users with specific user ids. The descriptions of these parameters provide examples as well and recommend reading them carefully.

So in your case if you want to exclude a specific group with an id of 50 then you'd use the below.

Assets: groupjive.group.GROUP_ID_HERE, groupjive.group.GROUP_ID_HERE.%

Replace GROUP_ID_HERE with the id of the group you don't want displayed. This covers the group posts itself and content from integrations. If you want to exclude all posts from all group streams then you'd use the below.
