Thank you for your reply Krileon. This worked but... this is not 100% what we need. Now the comments done on the article page do not show at all on new article activity.
Can't the comment be posted on timeline, but not bump the new article activity to the top?
It is good to show that an article has lots of comments on the activity page (this helps us gather subscriptions), but bumping the new article activity to the top destroys our articles order on activity page.
Commenting shouldn't bump the original activity to the comment. You should effectively have 2 activity entries. One being "published a new article" and another being "commented on this article". Are you seeing the "published a new article" activity being bumped to the top? If so that does sound like a bug.

Yes you are right, i have 2 activity entries. One being "published a new article" and another being "commented on this article".
What would be ideal for us, is to have the comment added to the list of comments bellow the "published a new article" activity entry.
Example...
User comments on article page, and the comment is added to the list of comments bellow the "published a new article" activity entry. No new "commented on this article" entry, no bumping anything to the top.
Ok, then all you should need to do is turn off the comment activity for articles. Within CB Activity > Parameters > Activity > Articles turn off "Comment" activity. It won't create activity when someone comments on the article anymore.
