Ok, I've also implemented server side aggregation for the module. It wasn't re-filling the row count when rows were removed like normal galleries do. You should notice your module can't be empty anymore. Please let me know if that looks better for you now as I've already updated your site with the new build.
The above query shouldn't be necessary now, but it's still recommended just to be sure published states are synced up better.
