CB Gallery vs. Event Gallery was created by ernienet
I use an extension called Event Gallery, which displays photos and albums from various sources (Google Photos, Flickr, Amazon S3, etc.).

I can't find any indication of whether CB Gallery allows images to be sourced from outside the hosting account. If so, what sources? I have limited space on my VPS and would like to have large files, images and videos loaded from third parties.

I've never used CB Gallery, but virtually all my client sites have Community Builder.

Thank you,
Ernie

CB Gallery doesn't display media from external collections. It can display media from external sources though as it does support linked media. So you'd have to supply the URL to each photo 1 by 1. It might be possible to use CB Auto Actions to parse external collections via http calls then create CB Gallery Media entries for them though so that's probably doable. Suppose a Joomla scheduled task could also be developed to do that.
