CB Gallery stopped requiring approval for new uploaded gallery items.

Hello...
For sometime now, moderators stopped receiving mails that users uploaded media and require approval. As a matter of fact, no approval is required at all!
When a user uploads an image, this is directly published in their albums.
Here is our plugin settings...

What galleries is this happening for? Profile galleries? Approval should only be skipped for moderators. Please be sure within CB > Configuration > Moderation that "Moderators View Access Level" is set correctly. Next edit the gallery this is happening on within CB Gallery > Galleries then under Display > Moderation > Access select who should have moderation permissions for the gallery. For profile galleries you'll probably want this to be set to "Moderators Only" so it's restricted to CB moderators.

Yes. The gallery that exists in each user's profile.

Please be sure within CB > Configuration > Moderation that "Moderators View Access Level" is set correctly.

Tested again in incognito mode so that there are no cache issues, and the problem remains.

• The new uploaded photo is directly approved and published.
• No mail sent to admin that an image was uploaded or that it needs moderation.

I wasn't able to confirm any issues with uploads bypassing approval requirement, but was able to confirm a bug with emails not sending. Will dig a little further and have a fixed released out here shortly.

Ok, a new CB Gallery build release is now available with the notification sending fixed. I however wasn't able to confirm any issues with bypassing approval though. Are you testing with a regular registered user? Are you sure approval is correctly enabled under the Create tab? It's possible to universally enable it for all media then override it per-media type (e.g. require videos and files to have approval, but photos don't need approval).
