I have a Kunena Forum installed and Community Builder.
The forum is used to publish ads for musicians looking for or offering opportunities, and what I want to do is this: how to send an email to users when an ad is published and the city of the ad is the same as that of a registered user?
That is, if an ad is for example for Lisbon, all users in Lisbon would receive an email notifying them of that ad.It would also be necessary to add a field in the registration to enable or disable this feature.
Is there any Community Builder module that allows me to do this?
We're not the developers of Kunena and your question is primarily about it since you're wanting to send an email when a post is made within their city. Generally the best way to do that is to create a Joomla plugin for Kunena that does exactly that. CB Auto Actions can help with that by reducing the amount of code you'd have to write, but it's still going to require coding regardless. I'd first check over at Kunena's forums to see if they might have some suggestions for you about this.
