I would like to build our joomla site on our server and keep our other site as is until the site has been completely built.
So, if I buy CBSubs and install it under a temporary subdomain and then later change the name of the domain to the real one, will we be okay?
Please note that I'm using the license # only once.
I also want to have users pay for access to a certain use of an extension. Is this possible?

You'll be fine, license is floating and will adjust as necessary. If you have problems then just contact us after the move.
