Radius search / distance filter for CB User List by ZIP (PLZ) – possible with CB

Hi team,we are using Community Builder Free on Joomla with a list of 488 therapists.Fields we have: (ZIP), (city), etc.Current list search is (LIKE '%82%') – this finds 38820 when searching for 82xxx. We would like or ideally a radius search like "show all members within 20km of 82418".We tried the Filter Tab with and also in Advanced – but this is a static filter, not dynamic user search.We saw CB Activity 6.0 has a "Revamped Location Feature with built-in maps, automatic location selection and nearby place searching". Does this also work for CB User Lists or only for activity streams?Question:

1. Is a radius search for User Lists possible with CB and if yes, which add-ons do we need? Google Maps field + Auto Action for geocoding + custom Haversine WHERE query?
2. Would buying CB Activity (Buy €59 vs Subscribe €99) already include this, or do we need more?
3. Would you recommend to stay with CB or switch to SobiPro for a pure therapist directory with map + radius search?

We don't provide a radius search feature at this time. Greater than and less than searching is supported by using an Integer Number field.

This would not help you in regards to searching. That feature is for pinning a location on a map and including that in an activity post.

The location feature is included with CB Activity.

I've no experience with SobiPro, sorry. CB provides advanced user profiles and isn't necessarily a directory. If you need a directory independent from user profiles then ideally you should use a directory extension specifically for that.
