In the plugin section where I can assign triggers for CB Fields, I was wondering if I can set the value to something being returned by a script.
I made a very small php script that translates postal code into "city, town, province/state" called point.php
I want to call onto point.php with a onAfterUserUpdate trigger and set the value to the result that is being returned from point.php
Is it possible to achieve this?

No, this is not the intended usage of CB Fields. For what you're wanting you should use CB Code and perform a database query from your code to CB updating the users value as necessary.
