CB Emails bug? was created by apdt
I find that CB Emails strips off br & p tags in HTML mode. Tags like div or a are ok.

Please ensure you're using release 1.0.9. The only filtering applied is that from CBs own API using the filtering done on textarea fields and such. You can tell it certain elements to be ignored however within CB configuration. Your editors settings also will have affect where some editors strip HTML. For instance if using JCE it's possible you've it configured to perform code cleaning.

I checked and my version is 1.0.9.

I don't set any filtering in Config > User Profile. The thing is, emails behave differently in different part of the applications.

In CB > Config > Registration - Pending approval and welcome don't support HTML at all.

In Plans > Presentation - HTML email is supportted

In CB Emails - HTML email is partially supported, some tags are stripped.

All the above are using the same configuration.

Right, HTML was disabled intentionally. We'll be addressing the workflows better with CB 2.0 and better emailing support.

In Plans > Presentation - HTML email is supportted

No idea how CBSubs processes emails so can't say what is or isn't removed.

In CB Emails - HTML email is partially supported, some tags are stripped.

Tags are stripped if using plain text. If using HTML then it's passed through the CB filtering functions to filter our potentially dangerous code.

Was able to confirm your issue however and appears the BR tags are not stripped, but replaced with database safe linebreak. Is the linebreak not functioning at all? Have made a note to investigate further; being configured from backend only will likely remove the filtering all together.
