I have a hidden menu item for the forgotten UN/PW and the first screen is using the correct itemID, however the following screen after the email is submitted, is using the itemID of the homepage - not the previous forgotten UN/PW page.

Any ideas how I can resolve this?

After submissions of the forgot login page users are sent to the homepage or "done" page. Users are not kept on the forgot login page so the forgot login Itemid isn't going to be present.

Hi,

OK that might be the case, but when this happens one of the modules is losing all its styling, and I've no idea why. Presumably something CSS related

It is not being redirected to the homepage on completion, it's going to

/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=done&Itemid=1 and displaying a message saying email can't be sent (as it's currently disabled while we're in test mode).

The homepage modules are showing, however as I mentioned, one of them has no custom styling as the css files are not being loaded, from what I can see. Is there any way to alter the page which it ends up at?

The user is sent to the done page typically with the homepage Itemid appended as you're seeing. It has no relation to your module aside for the Itemid. The module failing to load its own CSS would be the issue in question. I suppose you could change the page by editing the source; the redirect is done in comprofiler.php I believe.
