I have installed uddeID PMS and created a menu link (mailbox) to the component which works exactly as I want with my template and associated modules when entering the alias manually in a browser window.
If however, I click on the link to 'send a private message' from the CB Content side menu, the url is 'component/uddeim/?task=new&recip=46' which although uses my template, I dont get the associated modules such as the cb content menu list. How can I associate or edit the link in CB Content to replace component/uddeim/?task=new&recip=46' with 'mailbox' and also append the recip id field to the link (i.e. i can manually add 'mailbox?task=new?recip=46 and it works great)?
As far as I'm aware the link is hardcoded into CB Menu. You can try changing the source, but perhaps a better approach is to just use a htaccess rewrite of the URL given you've SEF enabled already and likely already using htaccess.
