[SOLVED] default page for logged/non-logged users

Hi,

I would like the registration to be the default page for non-logged users.
So I just set the link "registration page" as default.

There are two issues :

1/ Once users logged, the registration form is still the default page. Is there a way to set another page as default for logged users ?

2/ Once logged, how can I hide the register item menu ?

Thanks for any help :)

Both are Joomla questions and as far as I am aware Joomla can do neither of them. It maybe possible using J1.6 or 1.7 and the new ACL controls, but I've no experience testing this.

1/ Once users logged, the registration form is still the default page. Is there a way to set another page as default for logged users ?

Best I can suggest is using the CB Login module login redirect URL to redirect them to a different page when they login.

I am not sure to understand. Is there a module or something like that which can help me to do that ?
Or it's just a parameter to set.

Please ensure you're using CBs login module. This should've been installed and configured after installing CB it self. The login module is provided with CBs package. If already installed then navigate to module manager within Joomla and configure the redirect URL. This and more is covered in detail within your CB documentation.

I think I got my solution.
I found this [url:http://www.techjoomla.com/view-document-details/1-logged-in-home-page.html]plugin[/url]which propose an alternative home page for logged user. It is very effective/simple: you just need to select the home page for logged users in one of the menu item.

I didnt run a whole test set, but It seems to work.
