Hi,
I have the same problem, I'm using CB 1.7 and 1.2.2 CBSubs.
for registration with free plan stores the password in plain text without encryption.
Did you want to know if you have any solution?

Nant sent a patch that fixed it for us, but we were having problems with paid users, while free users were fine. Your issue seems to be a little different than ours.

If my case only applies to free plans. Payment plans are working properly.
