Welcome Email

Welcome Email was created by richbell77
Hi again,

On user sign up I've configured it to sent emails to the users to request verification and then to confirm their details.

I have a couple of questions about this:

1)the confirmation email does not confirm their password, only their username and email, how do I get the passwrd to also show?

2)My site is running joomla / cb through an iframe on my main site. The emails for registration say at the bottom that the mails have been generated from www.cms.mywebsite.com (which is where joomla is installed on the server), where as I need the emails to say my actual web address www.mywebsite.com instead. Is this possible?

3)Also when clicking the verification link in the email when joining up it takes the user to the main page where it says 'thanks for confirming registration etc' - I need this to somehow redirect back to my main site if this is possible?

Thanks for taking the time to look at my questions! Ps mywebsite.com isnt the actual site just an example!

Within CB > Configuration > Registration you need to add the [PASSWORD] substitution to the Pending email and it should include the password.

You shouldn't be using iframes, they're not secure and often browser hate dealing with them. CB will use the livesite of the CB site, which is correct. You can change this in configuration.php, but in doing so a lot of your site will fail.

You could use incubator project CB Redirect and redirect after confirmation to wherever you want. Don't know if this will work for redirecting to an entirely different domain, but worth a shot.

In that case is it possible to just remove the line in the email that says that the mails have been generated from www.cms.mywebsite.com?

Thanks

Yes, you'll need to edit the language string for it within your CB language files. Please refer to your documentation available for download in Advanced downloads section for language file locations and usage.
