[SOLVED] Kunena in a Pop-up window was created by nticxs
Due to the issue explained in other topic, the Kunena forum requires a wide window width, and I think that a good idea (may be) its make a link the forums to pop-up windows without the original template o with another one. But I can not find a way to make this link from a menu. Is it possible to do so or there would be another way?.

Thanks for your patience.

Pop-up windows are horrible practice. Now-a-days every modern browser will block them by default. The more aggressive the blocking the more likely your users will never reach your forums. Believe perhaps you should solve your template issues instead of hacking core files to add target="_blank" to the HTML "a" elements.

I will try your council :) . I'm according with you about the pop-ups, may be the accurately concept thats I mean is "new window" only for registry users when click in the forum link. But I want that the new windows will have another one template due the kunena's design. With the actual template, the results obtained are really terrific (in a not-good sense).

Thank you for your excellent work.

I recommend contacting Kunena if you're having display issues regarding the forums as it could be a bug or perhaps just a styling issue.

Dear Krileon,

Thank you, the affair is solved. The menu item must be marked like a "Open in a new window with navigation bar".

In order to solve the problem of the forum wide, I did separate menus (for public and register users), left colum for publics, right column for registers. After from module manager, for each public module, in module assignment I did unmark all the menu items for register users. In this way when someone register clicks on "Forum", the forum appears in a new window with the forum and 1 right column.

Regards.
