Are the database table structures the same for CB on J1.5 and J1.7?
What about the directory structure, has that changed significantly for CB running on those two versions of Joomla?
jupgrade is doing a very incomplete job of transferring my existing CB tables, so I'm going to try doing it manually. So far, "upgrading" to J1.7 is extremely tedious.

CB tables are the same regardless of the CMS. So no difference being install on J1.5 as opposed to J1.7. I recommend exporting your database tables then importing into your new install. Once done install CB Juice on both sites. Now export your userbase. Then on your new site database empty the _comprofiler table and then import your userbase with CB Juice. This should give you a successful transfer (how I moved my localhost to J1.7 except I didn't use CB Juice).

Thanks! That worked very well (for CB). I ended up doing adjusting the #__comprofiler table myself rather than using CBJuice, gave me a better idea of what changes might be needed for other components.
Speaking of other components, I wish they were all as easy to migrate as CB...
