I'm almost done setting up CB and CBSubs, only one more thing, but I can't seem to find the answer within the forum. Here are my details:
Joomla 1.7.3
CB 1.7.1
CBSubs 1.2.2
Here's my set up:
I have 4 plans:
Contributor (ACL Group Registered)
Basic (ACL Group Directory (one above registered))
Advance (ACL Group Directory (one above registered))
Professional (ACL Group Directory (one above registered))
Now, what I want. After a subscription expires and the user fails to renew within a grace period, s/he will be downgraded to "Basic"
I set up 4 plans and after the plan expires, the user should have access to Basic plan only (registered only).
Problem:
1.) After Plan expires, the User does NOT get an Email informing him/her that the plan has expired and to take action
2.) User maintains in plan. Admin has to go physical to the user's profile in the backend to delete the Subscription. But this should happen automatically.
I've been going over and over the manual and all UC studies, but I can't find the solution.
If the users has first subscribed to some Free (lifetime?) plan and after that has upgraded to a paid plan (perhaps as child to free plan?), then when paid plan expires the user will still be subscribed to free plan.
Expiration email is sent when Grace period expires.
CBSubs 1.3 in beta process at the moment, will feature a new Mailer plugin that you can use to send time criteria messages to your users (e.g., send message 5 days before subscription expires, etc.).
