When contacting an other member, you can send an email message via the messages tab in that users profile.
At that moment your e-mail adres will be send to that other member.
Is it possible to keep emails privat, and completely communicate to other members via the CB-website?
Thus giving optimal privacy, until a member self decides to reveal their actual email adres?

Using UddeIM you can allow your users to send private messages between one another and never involving email. You can disable the email form within CB > Configuration > General by setting "Email Handling" to "Do Not Display Email". CB Privacy may also be able to block the email form (no guarantee as can't recall if it does or not) when applied to the email field.
