Having an issue where I am getting Logout Action menu type instead of List menu type when makng menu item to user list. I have been able to get around it by making an external URL pointing to my list. Now the problem is that doing so will not allow the SEF settings to work correctly. Instead of making it an SEF friendly URL using the alias name from the menu (which using an external URL does not give you the option to add an alias name), it uses the full url of the search link.
Any idea when this "Cosmetic Issue" will be resolved? I really like to use SEF links on this search page.
On J1.7 you can create a userlist menu link, but you won't have any parameters. This is a known issue, please see below bug ticket. Note when creating a CB menu link it always says "Logout", but it's actually creating a link for whatever you selected (cosmetic issue). External links starting with index.php work fine, but their Itemid is stripped when using SEF.
