[SOLVED] GJ2.5RC Auto-Connection of Invitee?

[SOLVED] GJ2.5RC Auto-Connection of Invitee? was created by fader8
Am I imagining it or did previous versions auto-connect the inviter to the invitee as soon as the invitee registered? I'd swear it did but maybe I was thinking of CB Invites which does this. In any case I can't find a config item for this in GJ's back end, so I may be mistaken.

CB Invites does this, but GJ invites does not; GJ invites is group invites and not site invites (even though they can be sent to non-registered).

I suspected as much, thanks. Would be a useful feature, but I can live without it!
