[SOLVED] Username being used in Private Messages

I'll start by apologising if this should be in the UddeIM category but as a Professional Member I thought I'd start here.
Because I do not want my users to worry about a username I am trying to use real name throughout. Being concerned about duplicate real names I decided to use CB Auto Actions plugin to add a suffix from another field at registration. Works well.
However, when using the PMS tool, UddeIM, I find that the username is appearing when I use the option in the menu to 'Send Private Message'. I have Realname set as the preference in the UddeIM config but this seems only to show for the list of users that can be selected. Also, when the notification email is received, it says "Hi, [username]" rather than their real name (ie. the substitution for %you% is not there real name as expected).
Help required please - once again apologies if this needs to be addressed in a different area of the forum.

We're not UddeIMs developers. Please post your UddeIM related issues to UddeIMs boards below.

Regarding your issue however I don't believe you can do this as UddeIM needs something unique to send the message to a user and it uses Username for that. You may have made Name unique, but UddeIM can't assume you've done just that.
