[SOLVED] Batch actions. User Lists, User Fields, Menu itens

Hi,

My site is working a lot and the main structure is CB and CBSubs :)

Now i want to grow it, but i would like to do some batch actions, i would like to know if is possible or if will be possible some time, maybe with CB 2.0

Now my site is built just for one city

I have 25 userlists with specific filters
I have 25 menu itens going to this userlists

Example:

City one:

Yoga
- Hatha Yoga (filter - kind LIKE %Hatha Yoga%)
- Astanga Yoga (filter - kind LIKE %Astanga Yoga%)
- ...
- Iyengar Yoga (filter - kind LIKE %Astanga Yoga%)

Where
- neighborhood 1 (filter - where LIKE %neighborhood 1%)
- neighborhood 2 (filter - where LIKE %neighborhood 2%)
- ...

but i would like to have the same for other cities...

I would like to know if is possible:

1) Select the 25 userlists and copy (duplicate)

2) Create a menu link for all 25 new userlists (in one action, not one by one)

3) Insert in the first 25 userlists the filter (city LIKE %City 1%)
Insert in the second 25 userlists the filter (city LIKE %City 2%)

My idea is to have for some cities, and will not be possible without batch actions!

Thanks in advance

Hi Again,

I would like to do this sugestion for the CB 2.0 Userlist Management, maybe it already is like that, but i felt would be nice to sugest, hope you enjoy:

Sugestion:

CB List Manager

Copy List(s) – New List – Edit – Delete – Create menu(s) * - Add filter(s)*

List Categories - Lists

Search [ ] filters by: (active) (category) (other)

List 1
List 2
….
List X

Batch Process

1 - Select Category or Parent for Move/Copy

[ categories ] ( ) copy ( ) move

Process Button

2 – Select Menu or Parent for Move/Copy

[ Menus ] ( ) copy ( ) move

Process Button

Obs:
* User can select more than one list and click add filter
* User can select more than one list and click add menu link

Thanks

CB 2.0 will have import/export and copy features throughout. For now you must create things manually. Absolutely do not wait for CB 2.0 as it likely won't be release in very basic form until end of this year. I suggest for now manually performing the duplicates you need. For userlists you can copy their database row within phpmyadmin for example to easily duplicate it.
