Pay For Downloads Component

Pay For Downloads Component was created by rklein
My new site www.sniperpitching.com is a pitching program for kids to get Pitching Ratings and Profiles for free. However, if they want to purchase my SNIPER Pitching Program or other Documents or Videos. Do you have any recommendations on plugins, or components that handle this well with CB. I have CB Subs and that may work... just looking for the logic or if there are better ways.

Thanks! You guys are great!

I recommend Docman, it's what we use here and it works quite well with CBSubs. You can use our integration which places users in Docman groups to limit subscribers to certain documents or use By URL Part protection to protect download links. I believe J2.5 version of Docman uses ACL usergroups so it's even easier to configure (CBSubs can add usergroups based off subscription).

Do you have a sample link of this on your site? I would love to see how it integrates and the logic behind it.

Thanks!

CBSubs documentation includes an example usage of Docman. Beyond that, nope.

Yup - the CBSubs documentation has a special use case described.
