[SOLVED] Gender information to Kunena?

[SOLVED] Gender information to Kunena? was created by fribse2011
I've set up Kunena to use the information from CB.
All the icons behave as they should, except Gender.
I've created a select field in CB, and I've tried mapping the field in the 'Forum integration' plugin using the 'Beginner' setting, but it doesn't pick up the gender set in the CB field?

This is CB 1.8 and K1.7.2

Best regards

You need to use _UE_MALE/_UE_FEMALE or 0/1 for your fields values or it won't work. Kunena expects 0/1 (we translate _UE_MALE and _UE_FEMALE into integers for you).

Ok, I entered _UE_MALE and _UE_FEMALE into a select field.
And it shows up properly in the select field, I set it for myself.
Did a kunena sync, and went to the forum, but the little icon below the image still shows unknown. I would like to get completely rid of the gender icon, but it doesn't matter if I select --- as the mapping field for the gender or select the CB field, it shows up, and it just shows unknown.

If you don't want it at all then recommend maybe using Advanced sidebar display with substitutions.
