Checkboxes Not Saving In IE was created by sonicfog
In our user profile we ask a number of questions that use checkboxes. These checkboxes seem to work normally in Firefox or Safari, but our users that use IE are getting a weird behavior. They can check the checkboxes, but after they are submitted, the data is not saved.
Any ideas?

It's just a standard and valid markup HTML element. I don't see how a browser could have anything to do with it failing to store. Perhaps you've something else installed that's causing an incompatibility? Best I can suggest is perhaps something JS related as PHP does not discriminate. I recommend disabling 3rd party CB plugins 1 by 1 until resolved. If still not resolved repeat with 3rd part Joomla User and System plugins.

I have tried the following to trouble shoot:
Test 1 - All Content Plugins Off - No affect.
Test 2 - All Site Modules Off - No affect.
Test 3 - All System Plugins Off - No affect.
Test 4 - Switched Templates - No affect.
Checkboxes will not save the correct value. They actually save the opposite value. If I uncheck one it will save it as checked. If it has never been checked, then it saves correctly as unchecked. If it is checked, then it saves as unchecked. This ONLY HAPPENS in Internet Explorer. Works fine in Firefox and Safari.
