[SOLVED] GJ 2.5.1: bug with registered users was created by jojo12
Hi,
as super user I see in group:
name of post and under this "by (the name of the owner)"
same in files/photos/videos (events I didn't look)
as registered I only see: "by ".
EDIT: is not with all registered users. With this user I described in the other post
(this person was invited to join group..)
The same is in category
as this user I see the groupname and under this only "by "
In Overview
I can see in one category the name, in the others no name. What's that???
I made the quick you wrote (#3430).

Some sort of permissions problem with formatname field perhaps? Please check that it's on a tab with appropriate permissions. It's best to ensure it's on a public and published tab and ensure the field allows display on profile. I'm using the API to bypass access permissions, but caching (internal static vars) can sometimes cause it to still respect permission.

Thanks, it was exactly that. I wasn't aware of that when I changed the permission of the tab with the formatname in it.
