Login module message and format.

Hello,
Can you advise me on how to clean up or access the formatting of the Login module in the Horizontal (Default and compact) to better go with my template. Do i just have to modify the template itself or the module? I am a bit of a Joomla noob, but in the horizontal mode it separates the "Forgot Login" and "Register" links on individual lines rather than one continuous line. line. i would simply like to keep them all beneath the main module in one line an also add some space at the top of the module as well. See attached.

We can't advise you on core edits. If you need to adjust the display of the login module you should do so through CSS. I recommend using Firebug for Firefox to inspect the page as the module has classes and IDs that can be used for your styling needs.
