Aha, was able to confirm your issue. Your last post was very helpful in duplicating. Will review and fix for next release.

Great, have seen in the forge that you have already released the version 1.8.9 but the downloadable version is still the 1.8.8 ;)

A nice feature for the 1.9.0 would be to have the option to reset all field of an hidden tab (OK... would be an option to validate with a lot of care, but CB is so powerful that it would be a must)

I haven't uploaded 1.8.9 yet, will be uploading today. Field value reset will also work when hiding a tab (if reset is enabled) with 1.8.9.

1.8.9 works like a charm !

And one other good thing is that:
- in field mode, reset is direct
- in tab mode, reset is only on save (best in case of switching back, by error, curiosity, etc, to the hiding value after having filled all the field of the tab)

Ok, at least I understand myself ;)

Yup, that's correct; reset only occurs on save for tabs. It helps avoid wiping an entire tabs worth of fields by mistake.
