Hello All,

Is it possible, or a plugin for community builder, that the admin has to approve some fields that users can change?

Only the main image field has such a workflow in place.

No additional plugin exists as far as I know.

We've nothing of the sort. You'd need to develop a new plugin to add approval workflows to each field. As Nick stated only Avatar field supports this.
