For Facebook it's because you already attempted to connect. Your user already exists. You simply aren't confirmed/approved, please check User Management. I confirmed using my personal FB account that registration and login was successful.
As for Twitter it's an error on Twitters end. This could mean server is down, API is down, you're rate limited, your application is banned, your application isn't configured properly, etc.. basically completely out of CB Connects control. This is typically due to not having "Callback URL" configured in your Twitter application.
