It seems such a logical necessity. Is such a module in the works? When I have used your userlist I have been asked frequently why I don't have an A-Z selection. Surely, mine is not the first request for such a feature.
Currently, no nothing of the sort is in the works. It'll probably be possible with CB 2.0. Regardless it is doable, but you'll have to code it in. The alternative is to create a userlist for each letter. Then edit the userlist header display in your CB template php file to add URLs to each letter userlist so they'll just be swapping between the userlists or use a module to add the URLs to it (others have done this and seams to work ok).
