i am trying to publish the name field

but it says

"No (System-fields cannot be published/unpublished here. Name-fields publishing depends on your setting in global CB config.)"

What CB global config is required?

What name fields are used depends entirely on what you've set "Name Style" to. If you want a single name field then set "Name Style" to "Single Name Field" and the "Name" field will become auto-published.
