[SOLVED] Possible to edit item in profile view

I've added the Auto Action Mood field as per the tutorial with complete success.

What I would LIKE to be able to do is have that field editable by the user WITHOUT the need to go into the "Edit Profile" tab, go to the appropriate tab, change the mood and exit.

All I would like to have the user do is select from the dropdown list right from the public view of the profile. However, only the user would see that option of course.

I just want to make it as simple as possible for a user to change something like their mood right from the display on their profile, if you understand what I'm trying to say.

Is this possible at all?

Yes that's possible using CB Core Fields ajax plugin. It allows you to make any core field an ajax field, which can be edited from profile view and/or userlist view. Once installed and enabled edit your fields within CB > Field Management to make them ajax (note not every fieldtype can have ajax, but core fields like select, text, etc.. can).
