Alternative is if you want private messages you'll need to configure a CB Auto Actions Private Message action to do that, but I can promise you that's going to be spammy and probably annoy your user base extensively. At any rate it is still doable. You can also modify the latest views plugins to fit your needs better if it doesn't display as well as you'd like. That plugin will likely be rewritten after CB 2.0 as well.
