Hi,
is it possible with CB 2.0 to built a "publice message board" where every registered user can write ads/articles?
I would like to have an "job board" where members can offer and look for jobs.
It should have these features:
- ability to choose a category (job offer/job vacancy)
- filter cities
- put in ads text/edit text
- display user name
- display user's email
- display user's phone number
Is it possible to make such a "publice message board" wit CB or plugins? Or are there any third-party addons available? (Or any other Joomla components in mind?)
As far as I understood with CB, I can only have a "private tab" on my user profile with my own notices?
I searched the CB plugins/archive and the Joomla extensions directory but didn't find anything.
Closest you could get with CB doing that is probably GJ and have a Group specifically for Job listings and users can then post on the Wall of that GJ Group. It has basic searching and pagination, but nothing more advanced then that.
I recommend checking Joomla.org extension directory for something that does specifically what you're wanting though as there's several classifieds like extensions or even a simple Forum extension that can do what you're wanting.
