[SOLVED] CB user list

I have created a menu item that allows users to view other registered users on my site and I have been able to get all of the fields that I want to show except the username.

I was able to get the avatar to show, the online status, one other field, however the username won't show up on the grid view or list view.

I tried to position the username above the avatar as well as below it on the grid view. I also tried to position it in the second column on the list view to no avail. I have included a screenshot with this message. If it's not a fix that can be adjusted with your feedback, I can provide a login to the backend for additional assistance.

For best Grid usage setup the first column as follows.

Field 1: canvas (1 Line without Title
Field 2: username (1 Line without Title)
Field 3: avatar (1 Line without Title)
Field 4: onlinestatus (1 Line without Title)

Then add whatever other fields you like for the second column. This should cause your grid usage to look the same as our examples.

Thank you for the quick response, I made the suggested changes based on your feedback and the layout did change. I like it however, the username is still not showing.

The variations I tried after setting the parameters you provided was to remove column 2 completely, then I switched to a default joomla template to see if that was an issue, I switched to the list view, then I put the column 2 back in. For some reason the username is still not showing. I'm not sure if there is a setting somewhere else such as "Tabs" or "Fields" that needs to be changed but looking at it I can't tell.

Anny additional assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is the username field set to display on profile and on a tab that's accessible by the public? Your grid boxes also look like they maybe too small, try making their width bigger to see if the username could just be overflowing. The below is what it should look like with the above columns setup.

Got it, It was the tab, I set up a new tab for username instead of having it point to another one and then it showed up.

Also made the grid wider, it was too skinny once the username showed up.
